Hello, friends!
We are the #techaidforrefugees team. We work to support you and provide essential household items such as kitchenware, toasters, kettles, microwaves, and much more.
How to request help
Email [email protected] or call (925) 999-4095 and tell us:
- Your name and the city you’re in
- How many people are in your household (and the ages of any children)
- What appliances or items you need
- A few sentences about your situation
We respond within a few days. Families with children get priority. When the items are delivered, we’ll take a photo of you with the item and share it with the donor. Your photo may also appear on our website, but with no personal information attached so no one can use it for fraud.
Would you like to learn a new profession?
We offer free training to refugees in high-demand trades: appliance repair technician, plumber, handyman. Email [email protected] with the subject line “Training course” and we’ll let you know when the next cohort starts.
